Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Welcome to Uganda, the Pearl of Africa! Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Take time to relax and prepare for the incredible journey ahead, or explore the vibrant city of Entebbe at your leisure.
Dinner and overnight stay at Protea Hotel Entebbe – deluxe room.

Day 2: Entebbe – Kibale Forest National Park (Approx. 5 hours)
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park, passing tea plantations and the stunning Rwenzori Mountains, also known as the “Mountains of the Moon.” Arrive at the park in time for lunch. In the afternoon, relax at your lodge or explore the nearby trails for a chance to spot the area’s rich birdlife and primates.

Day 3: Kibale Forest – Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Village Walk

After an early breakfast, set out for an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale Forest. Walk through the lush forest with your guide as you search for habituated chimpanzees and other primates. Later, return to the lodge for lunch before heading to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a community walk. Visit local villages, schools, and farmlands to gain insights into the cultural heritage of the people living near the park.

Day 4: Kibale Forest – Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (Approx. 7 hours)

After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, passing through Queen Elizabeth National Park’s scenic savannah plains. Enjoy a game drive en route and look out for tree-climbing lions and other wildlife. Stop for a picnic lunch before continuing your journey to Bwindi, where you’ll be surrounded by the lush forest canopy.

Day 5: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Today is the highlight of your safari! Begin with an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla tracking. Set off on a guided trek through the dense forest to find a habituated gorilla family. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat as they feed, play, and interact. After your trek, return to the lodge to relax and recount your extraordinary experience.

Day 6: Bwindi – Lake Mburo National Park (Approx. 6 hours)

After breakfast, journey to Lake Mburo National Park, stopping at Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch and cultural insights. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon boat ride on Lake Mburo, where you’ll spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. Later, opt for an evening game drive or simply relax at your lodge, soaking in the tranquil surroundings.

Day 7: Lake Mburo – Entebbe (Approx. 6–7 hours)

Start your day with a guided bush walk to experience the park on foot, getting up close to zebras, antelopes, and other wildlife. After breakfast, depart for Entebbe with a stop at the Equator for photos and souvenir shopping. Arrive in Entebbe in time for your international flight, bringing your incredible Ugandan adventure to a close.
